Why Do We Fall? Again and Again and Again…

We all have repeating situations – the situations that make us feel we have not progressed or situations in which we believe we do not have the power to change our life surroundings. We fall again and again and again into the same difficult emotional states.
And why do we fall again then?
There are three main reasons for falling again:
- We still have not learnt what needs to be learnt
- We still want to avoid change
- We still do not have enough bravery, commitment, perseverance, faith, love to overcome the challenges
In order to leave the “falling again” pattern we may also want to look and potentially change our motivation for going forward. Is what we are doing done in order:
- To survive?
- To do things despite others – rebel?
- To revenge?
- To prove something to someone (myself, others)?
- To keep support and love from family?
- To keep support and love from friends and the environment?
- To keep the support and love of a partner?
Or is it:
- To express our real nature?
In conclusion – changing our perspective, motivation and strengthening our virtues (specific to us and the situation) is the way out of the “falling again” pattern.
