Are we mainly operating on autopilot, mechanically navigating through life? Or are we present in the majority of our life moments?
Many of us find ourselves overwhelmed by the daily demands of work, family, friends, and unexpected events, leading to states of worry, stress, or fatigue.
This Paradox-x workshop recording empowers us to reflect on the patterns of avoiding life that typically originate from childhood. And to identify mechanisms we developed in order to cope with physical or emotional pain. Reflecting on our current lives, it’s common to recognize various avoidance mechanisms such as overeating, alcohol consumption, excessive exercise, workaholism, binge-watching TV, fantasizing, and excessive use of social networks.
The video provides guidance for deep introspection, helping us understand how our absence from life allows negative aspects to “flourish”. The video explores the reasons behind our detachment from life and supports the identification of avoidance mechanisms we employ.
Moreover, it provides processes for learning from and transforming painful memories, thus creating more enjoyable conditions for a state of presence.
The workshop recording includes guided exercises that lead us to key insights necessary for living a more enjoyable, real life.
