Tired of Life or Tired of Opposing Life?
Are we tired of life, or of any aspect of our life? Is our energy level low?
When this happens, we may find ourselves leaning towards isolation, doing our daily activities mechanically and escaping reality in different ways. If we delve deeper into the mechanisms that create our exhaustion, we may realise something unexpected.
Our exhaustion may originate from resisting life rather than from living our life.
Understanding Resistance to Life
In order to understand resistance to life, we first need to grasp the concept of trauma since traumas are one of the main causes of reducing our energy levels.
Trauma is an experience in which we perceive a situation as a threat and are unable to resolve it.
Traumas, traumatic memories and disbalances created by the trauma act as barriers to the natural flow of life energy. If we are unable to resolve traumatic situations, we tend to experience internal fragmentation and adopt mechanisms for coping.
Each traumatic experience “chips off” a segment of our energy and leaves us depleted. It may start with the moment of our conception – if the conception was not joyful and willing for both partners, if it involved distressing moments, the segment of our energy may be blocked. It continues with the gestation experiences in which our mother can be in fear or worry, creating an unfavourable environment that we are not prepared to deal with. The experience of birth may also be traumatic for both, mother and child, and can also create a block in our life energy flow. As we go through experiences in our childhood, we all face numerous situations that can cause trauma for us. The experiences may include:
- Unwanted separation from our parents which we perceive as a life threat
- Being hungry, cold or having other unmet basic needs when we are not able to communicate them
- We are not able and supported to attain what we want (it can be a toy we are not able to reach, place we want walk to but still are not able to…)
- Conflicts between our family members we feel unable to influence
- Entering kindergarten and not being accepted by other children and caretakers
- Being rejected by the kids in the neighbourhood; and many other
It is important to emphasize that the trauma is “in the eyes of the beholder”. If we perceive an event as threatening, and we are unable to resolve it – this is a trauma that leaves a mark on our energy flow. No matter how insignificant the traumatic event may seem to an outside observer.
The unresolved traumatic memories create blockages in our energy and fragment our being.
In order to deal with difficult situations and haunting traumatic memories we may adopt coping mechanisms that seem to create relief.
Disconnect Mechanisms
If we are unable to deal with traumatic memories directly, we may find other ways to cope with the situation. The mechanisms we develop or adopt may include:
- Fantasising and daydreaming about our future
- Reliving past memories from “better” times
- Being absent-minded, disconnected
- Being hasty – doing things too fast
- Overuse of social networks or binge-watching TV
- Overuse of alcohol, medications, drugs, food
- Excessive work, exercising or being consumed in other activities
- Worrying, irrational fears, numbness, depressive states, and other mental disbalances
While the coping mechanisms seem to bring relief, they do not address the causes of energy depletion. And the relief is only – temporary. In order to expand our access to life energy, we need to address the root causes of trauma and overcome them.
Consequences of Blocking Our Life Force
If we leave traumatic memories unattended and unresolved, it will create energy blockages leading to a gradual weakening of our life energy flow.
The majority of our pain and suffering emanate from these energy blockages, manifesting as exhaustion, unsettling emotions, diseases, and various disorders.
The two- and half-day Paradox-x seminar – Resolving Trauma – provides an extensive set of instruments for understanding the causes of trauma and for successfully overcoming the consequences of traumatic events. The instruments include:
- Deep introspection into subconscious memories enabled through alpha and theta states,
- Objective view on the traumatic event from the first-person perspective or perspective of universal consciousness, and
- Transformation and learning equip us to overcome traumatic memories we are stuck in
The unresolved traumas and created blockages call for resolution. If we are not able to resolve them, they will be manifested in the cycle of repetitive situations. To delve deeper into overcoming repetitive situations, you can read Why Do We Fall? Again and Again and Again…
Overcoming Trauma Liberates Life Force
The traumas create life energy blocks. And what happens when we overcome traumatic memories?
After overcoming traumatic memories life force rushes in and replenishes our physical, emotional and mental energy.
The clients and students supported with Paradox-x processes for resolving trauma have experienced significant life improvements including:
- Relief of physical, mental and emotional burdens and blockages;
- Energy surge;
- Increase of inspiration, motivation and ability to create new life opportunities;
- Increased sense of wholeness, and
- Improved relationships
