The Paradox-x seminar – Compulsions & Addictions – is an advanced seminar that goes deeply into root-causes of our compulsions and addictions. It deals not only with physical compulsions and addictions, but also with emotional and behavioral ones. The compulsions and addictions may be inherited, and/or can develop during our lifetime based on the influence of the environment and based on the ways we choose to respond to the triggers from the environment. More often than not the choice is subconscious. Most of us have some type or form of addictions, be it physical, emotional or behavioral.
The compulsions and addictions bring something to us, otherwise we would not be so ‘hooked’ to the experience. Typically we have access to one, or both of the following:
- Pleasure, positive feelings and/or freedom to behave in ways not available to us when we are not under influence
- Escape and dissociation from the emotional pain that is usually based in trauma
This seminar provides tools for introspection in the root-causes of compulsions and addictions. Typically, that is a set of traumatic experiences, in some cases combined with inherited compulsive and addictive patterns.
In most cases, trauma had created a sense of emptiness inside of us accompanied by a belief that we have never and will never be able to fulfill some of our needs. In order to deal with this challenge, Paradox-x Method offers a set of tools to change beliefs as well as to create sensations and emotions that the person is missing. Once we start overcoming the feelings of vast emptiness existing in our beings, we also start experiencing deeper fulfillment. And this represents a basis for altering compulsive and addictive tendencies.
After successful finalization of the seminar participants receive a Certificate of Completion.
