This instructor seminar provides structured guidance on how to successfully transfer the knowledge and experiential skills encapsulated in the Living Boundaries practitioner seminar to Paradox-x students.
Instructor seminars are designed to provide opportunities for attendees to practice teaching seminar segments, receive feedback on presentation and facilitation, and deepen their understanding of the material from an instructor’s perspective.
This course offers an in-depth exploration of the key concepts related to the paradox of boundaries and compassion, fear-based protective strategies, protector personas, and the shift from judgment to discernment.
The Boundaries-Compassion Paradox
We examine how the most boundaried people are also the most compassionate, and why the absence of boundaries leads to resentment, judgment, and inauthenticity rather than greater love. Instructors gain tools to clearly convey this counterintuitive insight and to guide participants toward recognising their own patterns of boundary avoidance and its consequences.
From Fear-Based Protection to Conscious Discernment
True transformation occurs when students move from rigid, fear-based defences to flexible, conscious boundaries rooted in inner authority and compassion. Instructor training includes guided experiential processes and methods for supporting participants in identifying protector personas, healing underlying wounds, and practising discernment without judgment or resentment.
Developing Conscious and Flexible Boundaries as an Instructor
At this level, participants cultivate greater flexibility, nuance, and consciousness in their own relationship with boundaries – understanding how fear calcifies into rigidity, how unhealed wounds demand protection, and how integration creates the safety that allows for genuine intimacy and expansion. Instructors learn to hold space for vulnerability while maintaining clarity about what is okay and what is not.
The seminar also covers effective approaches for facilitating group exercises, managing resistance and emotional activation, and holding space for participants’ integration.
Upon successful completion of the seminar, participants receive a Certificate of Completion qualifying them to teach the Living Boundaries practitioner seminar within the Paradox-x framework.
